Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you prefer smaller companies as clients?

We are a small business and we prefer to deal with other small businesses. We can build strong relationships and help each other to grow. And smaller companies are generally great to work for. We really enjoy the one-to-one contact that you can only get with a small business.

I have slightly more than 100 lines. Can you still help me?

We should be able to help you if you have a little bit more than 100 lines. Obviously we don’t want to turn you away if you’ve got 103 lines, but when you get up to 150 or 200 lines that is too many for us.  We'd rather do a few lines really well than spread ourselves too thin.

Can you promise to grow our sales?

Sales Maximizer can maximize your sales, which means we can ensure that we use every technique we can to get every possible sale for your products.  But at the end of the day, it's up to the customers to decide if they want to buy them.  Not all products are capable of growing.  Some products are just plain bad, and nothing will make them sell.  But if the products are good, there are many ways to grow sales.  As well as maximizing sales of products already in Bunnings, we have also helped many of our clients to recognise opportunities for additional lines to supplement their range, and that alone can increase sales enormously.

So the answer is we can't promise to grow sales, but we can promise to do everything in our power to get as many sales as we can.  After that it's up to the product.

I’m unhappy with my current merchandiser. How do I change over to Sales Maximizer?

Simply give us a call and we will arrange everything. All we need is an email from you giving us all your product information and we’re ready to go.

When can you start?

We can start straight away if need be. All we need is a list of your products, some pictures if possible, and a bit of information about them, and we’ll be ready to go.

What are your rates?

Please contact us and tell us a bit about your products and what you do, and we’ll let you know the rates that we’ll charge. We charge a very fair and extremely competitive commission rate.

I've got a product I'd like to sell to Bunnings.  What do I do?

I get asked this so often that I have written a guide on how to do it.  It not only tells you everything you need to know, but it also will help you develop a product that will sell well, and also give you tips on how to increase your sales once you are in Bunnings.

Can you sell our products into Bunnings Head Office for us?

Sales Maximizer is a merchandising company, not a distributor, so we don’t deal with Bunnings Head Office and sell your products in, that’s up to you. Our job is to range them on the shelves once the finelines have been raised and they are in the system. However, as Vendor In-Store Support is generally required when selling a product to Bunnings, I suggest that you contact us first to get a quote, so you can build it into your costings before you approach Bunnings.

Can you warehouse and distribute our product?

Currently Sales Maximizer has no plans to do warehousing or distribution of products. If you would like me to put you in contact with someone who can do that for you, please contact us.

Do you service anyone else apart from Bunnings Warehouse?

At the moment we don’t service anyone else. We prefer to specialise in Bunnings as it keeps us focused and we’re not spreading ourselves too thin doing other work.
